Advertising Policy

Global Weather Live aims to keep weather information and educational content useful and easy to navigate. If advertising is enabled, ads are intended to support the cost of operating the site and should not be confused with weather information, navigation, or editorial content.

Advertising status

The downloadable starter website currently contains a visual advertisement placeholder only; it does not contain a live Google AdSense ad code. Advertising must not be described as active until the publisher has added the official code and the account and site have completed the relevant approval steps.

Third-party advertising

If Google AdSense is used, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies as described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Visitors can review Google’s advertising information and available settings using the links on those pages.

Editorial independence

Advertising placement should not obscure forecasts, mislead visitors, imitate buttons or navigation, or encourage accidental clicks. Weather articles should be written for readers and not solely to attract ad impressions.
